# XJobsFinder — SME Interview Agent: Walkthrough

*Operational guide — how to run the Interview Trainer end to end. Use it to present a live walkthrough, or hand it to a tester.*

---

## What the SME Agent does
The **SME** (Subject-Matter Expert) Interview Agent runs a **live, voice-or-text mock interview**, scores each answer in real time, and ends with a **scorecard + a downloadable cheat-sheet**. Two ways to use it:

- **Prep for a Job** — interview on the exact skill gaps for a specific role.
- **Train on a Topic** — train on any domain (e.g. "Regulatory Reporting") *without* a job posting.

---

## Before you start
- **Link:** `https://xjobs-final-production.up.railway.app/?startflow=sme`
- **Account required:** the first screen asks you to **create a free account or log in** (email *or* "Continue with Google"). One-time.
- **Mic (optional):** you can answer by **typing or talking**. If you'll use voice, allow the microphone when the browser asks.

---

## Mode 1 — Prep for a Job
1. Open the link → create an account / log in.
2. On the picker, choose **"Prep for a Job."**
3. **Upload your résumé** and **paste (or upload) the job description.**
4. The agent finds the **skill gaps** between you and the role, then starts the interview.
5. **Answer each question** — type, or tap the mic and speak. You can pick an **A / B / C** option or answer in your own words.
6. Each answer is **scored live** as you go.
7. At the end you get:
   - **📊 Scorecard** — overall score, a verdict (*Ready / Needs More Practice*), overall feedback, and a **per-question breakdown**.
   - **📥 Download Cheatsheet** — the full Q&A to review later.
   - **🔄 Try Again** — re-run the session.

---

## Mode 2 — Train on a Topic
1. Open the link → choose **"Train on a Topic"** (or go straight there: `…/?startflow=sme-topic`).
2. Pick **Industry → Role → Seniority → Domain/Topic** and your **goal**.
3. *(Optional)* describe your background or upload a résumé for context.
4. Click **Start Training** — the agent runs a **5–8 question** session on that topic.
5. Answer each question (type or speak); it adapts and probes deeper on weak answers.
6. At the end: a **scorecard** (*Domain Readiness* / *Learning Progress*) + **cheat-sheet**, and — in learning mode — a **"Continue to Next Subtopic"** option.

---

## Gmail Scan (optional)
Scans your inbox for job alerts and matches them to your résumé.

- **Link:** `https://xjobs-final-production.up.railway.app/?startflow=jobexchange` → **Gmail Scan**.
- **First time:** you'll connect your Gmail through Google. ⚠️ *Your email must be added as a test user by the admin first, otherwise Google blocks the connection.*

---

## 🐞 Found something off? Report it (5 seconds)
Anytime something looks **broken, confusing, or just odd**:
1. Click the red **"Found a bug?"** button in the corner.
2. Say what you **expected** vs. what **actually happened** — type, or tap the mic and talk.
3. Submit. It **auto-grabs a screenshot**, the page, and your browser — you don't do anything else.

Every report — big or small — lands in the team's **🦸 SUPER QA** board automatically. **Report freely.**

## What "good" looks like (quick reference)
| Step | You should see |
|---|---|
| After login | The mode picker — *Prep for a Job* / *Train on a Topic* |
| During the interview | One question at a time, A/B/C options, live scoring |
| At the end | A **score + verdict + per-question feedback**, and a **📥 Download Cheatsheet** button |

If any of these is **missing or looks wrong** → hit the 🐞 button and describe it. That's exactly the kind of feedback we want.
